Cultural Literacy in Action: Engaging Read Alouds and Tech Integration for Elementary **Webb CISD Only**

This professional development session offers educators practical strategies to infuse culturally responsive learning into their teaching practices through the dynamic combination of read alouds and technology integration. Participants will explore how to select diverse literature that reflects the backgrounds and experiences of their students, engage in interactive read alouds that promote critical thinking and empathy, and leverage technology tools to enhance learning experiences and foster cultural understanding. Through collaborative discussions and hands-on activities, attendees will leave empowered with the knowledge and skills to create inclusive and engaging learning environments that honor the diversity of their students.
