The Observation Calibration process helps appraisers increase and ensure scoring accuracy for T-TESS. Appraisers will be provided with practical observation calibration tools to support them with the development of the calibration timeline, review, and analysis of teacher observation data with a focus on individual T-TESS domains and engage in multiple opportunities to strengthen calibration within the school system.

The SLO process represents a continuous cycle of improvement embodied in strong teaching practice. Appraisers will apply the SLO Success Criteria rubric to SLO Samples and campus artifacts and gain skills to be able to SLOs review, refine, approve, and coach teachers on their submitted SLOs during the 2024-2025 school year.
