Special Education Campus Action Plan for Excellence (Cromack-Castaneda Elementary BISD)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This collaborative planning session is designed to empower campus leaders and educators to identify and address the critical factors impacting the success of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Participants will engage in a comprehensive root cause analysis to uncover barriers and prioritize areas of need.
The session will focus on the creation of a targeted action plan, addressing key areas such as:
Professional development and coaching needs for general and special education teachers.
Revision of campus procedures, including instructional supports, Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) decision-making, collaboration, and progress monitoring.
Enhancing documentation practices to ensure student-specific needs are effectively captured and addressed.
Participants will also work together to establish a Cadence of Accountability, outlining regular check-ins and benchmarks to ensure continuous progress and refinement. By the end of the workshop, teams will leave with a clear, actionable plan that fosters improved collaboration and more effective support for students with IEPs.
