Unlock the Assistive Technology supports built into the Instructional Technology tools already in your classroom! During this session participants will gain a deeper understanding about student eligibility criteria and authority for decision making for the provision of oral administration, spelling assistance, content and language supports, and accessibility features. Participants will understand how Assistive Technology (AT) can be implemented as part of everyday instruction to support literacy through text-to-speech, speech-to-text, word prediction, graphic organizer and authoring tools which can enable students with disabilities to access curriculum and be successful learners. Explore software supports and features that already exist in Google, Windows-based machines.
