Project L3 Studying Milestones in U.S. History (Participating Districts ONLY)

This professional development workshop series will provide teachers with resources and tools to teach about milestone topics in United States history in their constitutional context. Topics will be addressed in 90-minute sessions delivered online (total of three sessions). Each session will feature a mix of content and pedagogy and will include links to primary sources and lesson materials.

Session 1- Lincoln and the Constitutional Equality of All Americans
November 14, 5-6:30pm

Session 2- Pursuing Constitutional Equality in the Civil War Era
November 20, 5-6:30pm

Session 3- Constitutional Equality in the Decades after Lincoln
December 11, 5-6:30pm
