Region One Education Service Center is hosting a one-day HQIM Curriculum Symposium for instructional leaders interesting in learning more about TEA Open Educational Resources that include Bluebonnet Learning K-5 Math, 6-8 Math, Algebra 1, and K-5 RLA and previous Texas versions of Amplify RLA K-5, Eureka Math K-5, and Carnegie 6-12, the TEKS Resource System, and TEA/ESC Texas Curriculum Resources. The benefits of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) allow students to engage more deeply and meaningfully with Texas standards and support teachers in ensuring all students have access to high-quality and rigorous grade level content. Student outcomes improve when they have greater access to grade-appropriate assignments, strong instruction, deep engagement, and teachers with high expectations for all students. Key Areas of Support: *Understand the Impact of High-Quality Instructional Materials. * Leverage Curriculum Management Systems to Build Expertise in Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. * Experience HQIM Lessons in Reading Language Arts and Mathematics. * Engage in TEA Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) * Utilize Curricular Resources to Expand and Strengthen Campus Leader Content Expertise
