Expanding Access/Equity: Innovative Pathways in AP Access

Presenter: Savannah Stanley, College Board |

Advanced Placement is for every student willing to put in the work! Did you know that students who take AP Pre-Calculus are 155% more likely to graduate college? In this session, College Board will explore the transformative potential of AP access courses like AP Seminar 10, AP Pre-Calculus, and AP African American studies in fostering a more inclusive and equitable AP program. We will highlight how these courses provide all students with the opportunity to engage with college-level content early, cultivating critical thinking, cultural understanding, and advanced mathematical skills. Attendees will leave with practical tools to implement these courses in their own districts and broaden access to AP for every learner.
