Day 4 -Project BLOOM Best Practices of Literacy Leaders Consortium

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Day 4 will focus efforts on how the use of technology is shifting and expanding literacy as well as how to achieve stronger home-school partnerships. Literacy leaders are increasingly concentrating on the evolving role of technology in reshaping and broadening the concept of literacy. As digital tools and platforms become more integrated into educational practices, literacy now encompasses not only traditional reading and writing skills but also the ability to navigate, evaluate, and create content across various digital media. To effectively harness this shift, educators and leaders are also prioritizing the development of robust home-school partnerships. By actively engaging families in the learning process and leveraging technology to facilitate communication and collaboration, schools can create a more supportive and cohesive learning environment. This approach not only enhances students' literacy skills but also fosters a community culture that values and supports lifelong learning.

Distritct and campus leaders, Deans of Instruction, Assistant Principals and other literacy Leaders.
