TELL ME, Too – Supporting AAC Users in Elementary and Middle School Through Language-Rich Routines and Literacy 2nd - 6th Grade (PM)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

TELL ME, Too builds on the trusted TELL ME framework to bring meaningful AAC instruction to elementary and middle school classrooms. Designed for students with limited communication who are beginning to use AAC, this program blends evidence-based practices from special education and speech-language pathology to infuse high-frequency core vocabulary throughout the day. Participants will learn how to use engaging picture books, such as Miss Nelson is Missing! and What Do You Do with a Problem?, to build language and literacy skills while exploring age-appropriate themes like inclusivity and resilience. Learn how to implement shared reading and writing lessons, build communication opportunities into daily activities like yoga, community service, and drama labs, and align instruction with ELA benchmarks and early literacy skills. This session is ideal for educators and SLPs seeking practical, structured strategies to make AAC a natural and effective part of everyday classroom life for older students. #ATESC1 #LIDESC1

This will be a product demonstration and participants will receive a copy at the end of the session.
