McKinney Vento Parent and Family Engagement Symposium: “Bridging Hope: Empowering Staff to Support Families Facing Homelessness”

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

In a time when family homelessness continues to rise, this powerful symposium brings together dedicated professionals to strengthen their ability to serve our most vulnerable students and their families. Bridging Hope offers an immersive day of training designed specifically for Parent Liaisons and school staff who work directly with McKinney-Vento families.
Through a compassionate and practical approach, attendees will explore the root causes of homelessness, challenge damaging stereotypes, and learn to build trust through empathy, effective communication, and active listening. Sessions also include guidance on accessing vital resources, navigating the educational needs of homeless students, and prioritizing self-care to prevent burnout.
Join us for a full-day experience, you’ll leave empowered, informed, and inspired—ready to be the lifeline your families need most.
This is a face to face session, no virtual option will be offered.
