Ready, Set, Teach! Back-to-School Strategies for Special Education Teams (Valley View ISD Only)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Start the year strong with this essential back-to-school session designed for both new and returning special education teachers and paraprofessionals! Participants will explore key beginning-of-year tools, classroom expectations, and collaboration strategies that set the tone for success.

A major focus of the session will be the Rubric of Effective Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities, a powerful resource to guide instructional planning, team collaboration, and ongoing reflection. Participants will learn how to use the rubric to strengthen practices in areas such as alignment with state standards, classroom climate, communication with paraprofessionals, and differentiated instruction.
