This session is designed to strengthen T-TESS appraiser calibration with an in-depth focus on Domain 2, specifically Dimension 2.1 (Achieving Expectations) and Dimension 2.4 (Differentiation). Participants will engage in a structured review of T-TESS language and processes to ensure valid, reliable, and consistent teacher observation data. The training will emphasize building a shared, common language for observing and discussing instruction, while also refining appraisers’ ability to collect high-quality evidence that aligns accurately to performance ratings. Through targeted practice and discussion, participants will improve the quality of feedback provided to teachers, supporting more effective professional growth and reinforcing the integrity of the T-TESS process.
