Developing Phonological Skills & Read-Alouds (Rio Grande City Grulla ISD_ONLY)

AM Session: Phonological awareness equips students with essential foundational skills for successful literacy development. In this session, participants will explore how these skills evolve over time and gain practical experience through engaging phonological awareness activities designed to support young learners in building early literacy competencies.
PM Session: This training equips teachers with the knowledge to plan and deliver effective read-alouds using a structured, research-based instructional routine. The approach is designed to support oral language development, vocabulary growth, and reading comprehension. Teachers will be guided through a step-by-step planning process to help them implement purposeful and engaging read-alouds in their classrooms.
