Engaging Multiple Senses in Reading Instruction for Special Populations (Weslaco ISD SPED teachers only)

This session explores how incorporating visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic elements can enhance reading comprehension and retention for students with varying learning needs. Participants will discover practical strategies for creating multi-modal reading experiences, including techniques for students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and other learning differences. The session covers hands-on activities and evidence-based approaches that make reading more accessible and engaging for all learners.
