This session provides targeted support for appraisers in calibrating observation practices aligned to Domain II: Instruction, Dimension 2.3 – Communication of the T-TESS rubric. Participants will deepen their understanding of the performance descriptors for this dimension, analyze classroom evidence, and practice scripting with a focus on identifying teacher behaviors that set clear, high expectations for all students. Through guided discussion, evidence review, and rating calibration activities, appraisers will refine their ability to apply the rubric with accuracy and consistency, ensuring fair and constructive feedback that supports teacher growth and improved student outcomes.
