"STAAR" Ready Supports: Making Supplemental Aids Count

Participants will review TEA’s guidelines for student eligibility and the use of allowable supplemental aids on STAAR. This session will unpack what’s permitted, what’s not, and how to adapt supports to ensure they are both compliant and effective. Using real examples, participants will analyze appropriateness, identify common missteps, and explore strategies to refine supplemental aids so they meet state standards while boosting student performance.
