Adult Mental Health First Aid

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Please Note: This Training will occur on two concurrent half days (AM). Participants will learn about Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) which is an evidence-based training course that teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in adults (age 18 and older). The training equips people with a 5-step action plan (ALGEE) to provide initial help and support to someone experiencing a crisis or developing a mental health problem, until appropriate professional, peer, social, or self-help care can be established. Just like CPR is for a medical emergency, MHFA prepares you to be a helpful first responder for mental well-being..
