Child Outcome Summary Process: Requirements, Process and Data Collection (United ISD Only)

This comprehensive training provides early childhood special education professionals with essential knowledge and skills for implementing the Child Outcome Summary (COS) process in compliance with IDEA requirements. Participants will learn to accurately rate children's functioning across three outcome areas: positive social-emotional skills, acquisition and use of knowledge and skills, and use of appropriate behaviors to meet needs. The training covers the complete COS process from team composition and information gathering to rating discussions, documentation requirements, and quality assurance practices.
