The T-TESS Observation Calibration Overview & Re-Set is designed to strengthen appraisers’ accuracy and consistency in classroom observations. This session provides an opportunity to revisit the T-TESS rubric, review evidence collection practices, and align ratings to ensure fairness and reliability across campuses. Participants will engage in collaborative analysis of classroom observation samples, practice scripting high-quality evidence, and recalibrate expectations within key dimensions of the rubric. By the end of the session, appraisers will leave with greater confidence in their ability to provide accurate ratings and meaningful feedback that supports teacher growth and improved student outcomes.
