Marketing the McKinney-Vento Program on a Shoestring Budget, PART I: Marketing 101 for McKinney-Vento

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This three-part, half-day professional learning series is designed to help McKinney-Vento district staff develop practical marketing and communication skills to raise awareness about services for students experiencing homelessness — even with limited budgets.
Through interactive learning, hands-on practice, and peer collaboration, participants will learn to apply basic marketing principles, use free or low-cost promotional tools, and communicate the program’s mission with clarity and confidence. Each session builds on the previous one, blending strategy, creativity, and real-world application tailored to the McKinney-Vento context.
