Building Resilience: Trauma-Focused Clinical Strategies for Suicide Prevention in Schools

This interactive training equips school personnel with trauma-focused clinical strategies to identify, respond to, and prevent suicide among students. Participants will learn how trauma impacts mental health and suicide risk, explore evidence-based interventions, and develop practical skills for creating safe, supportive environments. The session emphasizes collaboration, cultural sensitivity, and resilience-building to empower educators and staff in fostering student well-being.This workshop is open to RBMHL partner districts only La Joya ISD, Lyford ISD, RGC-Grulla ISD, Hidalgo ISD, Donna ISD, Webb CISD.
