Session 1 of 3 – College, Career & Life Success (Tuesday, April 7, 2026 8:30am-11:30am) WS# 405348 Location: Sal Del Rey Room
A foundational training that prepares participants to deliver high impact lessons focused on:
• Soft Skills Development (communication, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving)
• Career Exploration Activities introducing fast growing industries and regional workforce demands
• College & Postsecondary Readiness Skills including goal setting, confidence-building, and future planning
Outcome: McKinney Vento teams will be equipped to facilitate district level workshops that inspire students to visualize and plan for future career pathways.

Session 2 of 3 – Media Arts & Communication (Tuesday, May 5, 2026 8:30am-11:30am) WS# 405348 Location: Sal Del Rey Room
This session immerses participants in hands on learning aligned to creative and digital communication careers. Training will include:
• Media production fundamentals such as digital storytelling, content creation, and communication strategies
• Interactive activities that can be replicated in classroom or group settings
• Exploration of industry tools and skills that help students discover their voice and strengthen identity-building through creative expression
Outcome: District staff will be empowered to bring multimedia based CTE experiences to students, supporting engagement, confidence, and self-expression.

Session 3 of 3 – Coding & Artificial Intelligence (Tuesday, June 2, 2026 8:30am-11:30am) WS# 405348 Location: Sal Del Rey Room
This final session introduces participants to high demand STEM and technology fields through:
• Beginner-friendly coding activities
• Foundational AI concepts that students can apply to creative or problem-solving tasks
• Hands on experiences that build digital literacy and cultivate interest in emerging tech careers
Outcome: McKinney Vento teams will gain practical, classroom-ready activities to expose students to future-ready technology pathways, helping them build confidence and curiosity in STEM.
