This one-day T-TESS Appraiser Refresher is designed for currently certified T-TESS appraisers seeking a focused review of the appraisal process and best practices. Participants will revisit the purpose and guiding principles of T-TESS, strengthen evidence collection and observation skills, recalibrate scoring practices using the T-TESS rubric, and refine coaching and feedback strategies that support teacher growth and improved student outcomes. Through collaborative discussions, calibration activities, and practical application, appraisers will enhance inter-rater reliability, ensure fidelity of implementation, and strengthen their capacity to use T-TESS as a tool for continuous improvement.
