FNP: CACFP Infant Meal Pattern Requirements (SATURDAY TRAINING)

This Infant Meal Pattern Requirements training features the updated requirements for serving infants based
on their growth and development. Through this two-hour training, participants will explore each update to
the infant meal pattern, as well as tips and strategies for implementation.
At the end of this training, participants will be able to:
• recall at least four changes to the updated infant meal pattern charts,
• summarize at least two requirements for serving breast milk and infant formula based on
the updated meal pattern,
• state three strategies that support infants and their developmental readiness for solid foods, and
• identify at least four new requirements for serving more nutritious solid foods to infants

This training is designed specifically for individuals operating the CACFP.
