This workshop supports educators and district leaders in understanding and implementing pre-test/post-test measures as a student growth option within the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA). Participants will review the requirements and characteristics of compliant growth measures, examine key indicators of quality in both district-created and third-party assessments, and consider alignment, rigor, and comparability. Attendees will also analyze which pre-test/post-test options best fit various grade levels, content areas, and teaching assignments. By the end of the session, participants will be prepared to select or refine growth measures that are valid, reliable, and aligned to TIA expectations.
