This six-part virtual series supports districts in starting, rebuilding, or strengthening their AT teams. Through collaborative, hands-on planning, participants will develop a customized District AT Team Manual addressing AT consideration, decision-making, trials, data collection, IEP documentation, implementation, and sustainability.

Teams will leave with practical resources, a repeatable AT process, and a framework for building capacity across their district.

The 6-part, 1.5 hr VIRTUAL series will consist of the following topics:
1. Foundations & Mindset
2. Build the Team
3. Make the Decision
4. Try It
5. Make it Work
6. Make it Last (in-person session scheduled for Summer '27)

AT implementation is most successful when multiple team members share the process. While individual participants are welcome, districts are strongly encouraged to send 2–3 team members to support implementation. Team participants will receive additional resources and will be eligible for assistive technology toolkits upon completion.

Ideal Team Composition:
Special education lead / coordinator
SLP or related service provider
Instructional specialist / teacher

Attendance: We understand the demands on school teams. While consistent attendance is encouraged, teams may rotate members as needed. A primary contact should be identified to maintain continuity. To receive full cohort benefits, teams must:
1. Attend at least 5 out of 6 sessions
2. Have at least one team member present at each session
3. Submit required implementation activities
