Learning becomes more meaningful when students can apply academic skills to everyday life. In this session, participants will explore practical strategies for embedding daily living skills into academic instruction to promote independence, problem-solving, and real-world application. The Forces Unite team will share cross-curricular ideas and evidence-based practices that integrate functional skills into literacy, math, communication, self-care, social participation, and classroom routines, helping educators create authentic learning experiences for all students.
