Rooted & Rising: Strengthening Families and Learning in Small Rural Schools: A 3-Part Learning Series for Parents and School Staff of Rural School

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Session 1: Recipes for Success: Follow-Up Virtual Workshop

From Reflection to Action: Building Confidence and Connection at Home

This interactive virtual workshop builds upon the original Recipes for Success session by guiding parents from reflection to real-life application. Designed to deepen learning and strengthen confidence, this session helps families actively implement strategies that support their child’s emotional well-being and development.

Parents will revisit key concepts related to emotional health and family engagement while discovering their unique parenting “recipe” — the strengths, values, and approaches that shape how they support their child at home. Through collaborative, hands-on virtual activities, parents will practice communication strategies, explore confidence-building techniques, and strengthen meaningful connections with their children.

This workshop is part of a continued learning series. The upcoming parent session will serve as an additional follow-up, offering new “recipes for success” and expanded tools, tips, and strategies to further support families in nurturing emotional well-being and positive learning experiences at home.
