I’m a former Valley ELAR teacher who loves EdTech—but only when it supports real learning and fits the day-to-day reality of classrooms. In this hands-on session, we’ll explore how to take the standard materials students already need to learn (notes, texts, vocabulary, review guides, etc.) and turn them into a self-paced study workflow with multiple practice modalities—so students can keep testing themselves in different ways while staying anchored to the same learning targets.

This is “self-pacing done right”: same standard-aligned content, more practice paths, and clear teacher guardrails to keep learning authentic (not shortcut-driven). We’re not here to be knowt-it-alls—just educators sharing what we knowt actually sticks.
