The Virtual Coaching Call is a required component of the Texas Mathematics Academies designed to support participants as they transfer academy learning into classroom practice. During this individualized coaching session, participants will meet with a certified Texas Mathematics Academies Cohort Leader to reflect on their learning, discuss implementation experiences, and receive targeted feedback and support.

Through collaborative conversation, participants will examine instructional decisions, celebrate successes, identify challenges, and explore next steps for strengthening mathematics teaching and learning. The coaching experience is intended to deepen pedagogical content knowledge, reinforce research-based instructional practices, and support meaningful application of academy concepts within the classroom.

This training is exclusively for District-approved participants of the Texas Mathematics Academies (Pilot Year) across all instructional pathways.
