Meaningful Access for Administrators

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This TEA training will guide participants in understanding the definition of meaningful access and its connection to inclusive practice. Administrators will explore how Universal Design for Learning (UDL), collaborative teaching, and specially designed instruction (SDI) can promote meaningful access for students with disabilities. The session will also review administrator responsibilities in supporting meaningful access and provide participants with the opportunity to create an action plan for schoolwide implementation and sustainability. You’ll leave with resources to lead your campus toward instructional excellence and meaningful access for every student.
Following this session, participants may choose to engage in coaching support to identify a focus area, participate in learning walks or classroom observations, receive feedback, engage in discussions, and develop action plans to support implementation.
