Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Evaluation Personnel and Staff will develop a basic understanding of types and degrees of hearing loss as well as become familiar with Hearing Assistive Technology (HAT), as some may be used in formal evaluations, and will gain a better understanding of evaluation results and the potential impact these may have on accommodations in the classroom for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. This in-person session will address formal assessments for DHH students, eligibility requirements, the FIE, and the referral process to RDSPD.
