Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This half-day session focuses on the importance of writing in mathematics as a tool for making student thinking visible, deepening conceptual understanding, and informing instructional decision-making. Participants will explore how purposeful writing opportunities allow students to communicate mathematical reasoning, justify solutions, and reveal misconceptions that may otherwise go unnoticed. Attendees will leave with practical, research-based strategies for integrating writing into mathematics instruction to strengthen student learning and support responsive teaching practices.
