Behavior & Mental Health: Supporting Students Through Understanding and Intervention

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This training is designed to equip Donna ISD educators with practical, evidence-based strategies to better support students experiencing behavioral and mental health challenges. Participants will explore the connection between behavior and underlying emotional needs, learn to recognize signs of mental health concerns, and develop effective, trauma-informed approaches to responding with empathy while maintaining a positive learning environment. Educators will leave with tools and resources to foster student engagement, build stronger relationships, and create classrooms that promote both academic success and emotional well-being.
