Removing Learning Barriers: UDL, Accommodations, and IEP Implementation in the General Education Classroom (Mercedes ONLY)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Note: Please bring a device.
Teachers will explore Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a framework for anticipating and removing barriers before they become obstacles, examine how accommodations function as instructional access tools rather than optional add-ons, and apply practical strategies for embedding supports into their daily lessons across all content areas and elective settings.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to identify common learning barriers in their classroom, understand their role in consistent accommodation implementation, and leave with at least one concrete action they can take immediately to improve access for students with disabilities.
