This interactive workshop equips educators with the knowledge and tools to strategically plan effective early literacy instruction for students with diverse learning needs. Participants will learn how to use assessment data to develop targeted literacy plans, design differentiated instruction, and incorporate evidence-based, multisensory teaching practices that support students with disabilities in both inclusive and specialized settings. Through hands-on activities and real classroom examples, teachers will explore how to plan for explicit, systematic phonics instruction, integrate assistive technology, and use ongoing progress monitoring to adjust instruction and maximize student growth. Participants will leave with ready-to-use planning resources, instructional frameworks, intervention strategies, and collaborative planning tools to confidently design literacy instruction that supports every student's path to reading success.
