EB Discourse: Increasing Peer-to-Peer Interactions in the Classroom

This session focuses on evidence-based strategies to help teachers increase meaningful peer-to-peer interactions in the classroom. Participants will explore practical techniques to shift the balance from teacher-led instruction to student-centered dialogue, fostering deeper engagement and collaborative learning. Through modeling, discussion, and application, teachers will learn how to structure conversations, use purposeful prompts, and create a classroom culture where all students actively contribute and learn from one another.

K–12 classroom teachers, interventionists, instructional coaches, and content-area teachers.
