This training provides evaluation personnel with best practices for identifying an Intellectual Disability through a comprehensive, legally defensible evaluation process. Participants will examine the relationship among intellectual functioning, adaptive behavior, and educational impact; review appropriate administration and interpretation of adaptive behavior measures; and learn how to integrate multiple data sources when making eligibility recommendations consistent with federal and state requirements

Special Education Evaluation personnel, Educational Diagnosticians, School Psychologists. Speech-language pathologists are welcome.
