Importance of Universal Screening in Academics and Behavior (Raymondville ISD Only)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This session provides an overview of universal screening as a key component of a comprehensive MTSS assessment system. Participants will explore the purpose of universal screening, characteristics of effective screening measures, and how screening data can support early identification and instructional decision-making. The session will address considerations for screening Emergent Bilingual (EB) students, examine examples of academic and behavioral screening tools, and review special considerations and requirements related to dyslexia screening. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how universal screening can be used as part of a coordinated, data-informed approach to identifying student strengths and needs and determining appropriate next steps.
