More Than Handwriting: Understanding & Supporting Students with Dysgraphia (MCALLEN ISD ONLY)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Dysgraphia affects far more than a student's handwriting — it can impact confidence, engagement, and academic performance across subjects. This workshop equips educators with a foundational understanding of dysgraphia, including its key characteristics and how it often coexists with other learning disabilities. Participants will explore practical, classroom-ready strategies for supporting affected students, while also reviewing relevant TEKS connections and typical developmental milestones in writing. By the end of the session, educators will be better equipped to recognize the signs of dysgraphia and respond with confidence and clarity.
