This hands-on session takes calibration beyond theory and into live classroom settings. Appraisers will engage in on-site classroom visits alongside a facilitator, collecting evidence and applying the T-TESS rubric for Domain II, Dimension 2.5 – Monitor and Adjust in real time. Following each observation, appraisers will receive side-by-side coaching and feedback to strengthen their scripting, evidence alignment, and rating accuracy. This collaborative, in-the-moment approach builds confidence and precision in using the rubric, while also reinforcing strategies for providing meaningful, growth-oriented feedback to teachers.
