TexQuest Mini-Conference

Are you looking for some fun and engaging resources to ramp up your teaching? Technology plays a key role in engaging your students and in your T-TESS evaluation. We have the tools to get you off on the right foot this fall. Your schools ALREADY HAVE ACCESS to a plethora of resources including TexQuest, a set of state subsidized resources. TexQuest has something for everyone, and so does this day of TexQuest Training! You will have the opportunity to attend basic or advanced training for multiple TexQuest resources, as well as share best practices to promote TexQuest resources and integrate them into the curriculum.

* Britannica School: Multi-level Encyclopedia & Resources
* Britannica Spanish Center: Spanish Multi-level Encyclopedia & Resources
* Britannica E-Stax: Four nonfiction collections of eBooks including, Early Reader Collection, Elementary Earth Science Collection, Elementary Life Science Collection, and English Language Learners Collection.
* EBSCO eBooks: Six nonfiction and reference eBook collections with almost 200,000 titles, including: K-8 Collection, High School Collection, Academic Collection, Business Collection, Education Collection, and History Collection.
* Gale Cengage Learning: General Content All Levels
* ProQuest SIRS Discoverer: A multidisciplinary resource for K-8, including content from over 2,200 sources and 9,000 integrated educational websites.
* TeachingBooks: A K–12 resource connecting cross curricular literacy materials to the titles being used in classrooms and libraries, including materials to support ELL students and STEAM content.
