The focus of these 2 days is to provide knowledge, understanding and practice of skills necessary to implement strategies that tailor academic instruction for students with learning difficulties being serviced through inclusive settings. Participants will be equipped with knowledge and skills to align these strategies with other improvement initiatives and prior professional development. The institute will provide presentations on a variety of topics such as Co-Teaching, Inclusion, Differentiated Instruction, Interventions, Data, Assistive Technology, and Content Curriculum to support students in inclusive classrooms.
Two ways to attend at NO COST:
1. FIRST 50 individual participants to register (25 spaces still available-teams of three are not counted in this 50) OR
2. Teams of THREE from the SAME campus (team MUST include one Special Education Teacher).
****************Administrators will have an opportunity to attend an all day presentation by attorney Holley B. Wardell regarding legal issues associated with inclusive practices on Friday, April 21, 2017.**

Targeted for Special, Bilingual/ESL and General Education teachers servicing students with disabilities. Additional audience may include supervisors, specialists, strategists, coordinators, directors, coaches, and facilitators (Special Education, Bilingual/ESL Education, General Education, Curriculum)
