Choosing Words,Changing Worlds

As teachers, we construct a world in which we will be living in for a period time, we decide who we would be and what we will be doing as well as what we expect others to do.
So as teachers we choose what words we will use and we use those words to build a world for the students who will enter our classrooms. We offer opportunities and provide constraints/boundaries. We begin the process of changing THEIR WORLD, by choosing our words.
Come learn about strategies and techniques to develop your students vocabulary .Begin to use and incorporate them into your teaching day to positively impact students and maximize their academic growth. Teachers, please bring a narrative or expository book with you.
