Schoolwide PBIS Project Administrator's Overview (am session)

This overview/awareness session is intended for DISTRICT level and SCHOOL level ADMINISTRATORS who would like to learn more about the School-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) project. PBIS is a school-wide system designed to - prevent chronic behavioral issues, provide early intervention for minor but repeated problem behaviors, and provide proactive supports for at-risk students.It is an evidence-based framework that relies on data to align appropriate resources to meet student need. We will discuss the conceptual framework of PBIS and considerations for quality and sustainable implementation. What is the role of the administrator? This session will provide information regarding the responsibilities of the administrator in implementing PBIS at the school-wide level.

This session is intended for DISTRICT level and SCHOOL level PRINCIPALS (District Administrators, Campus Administrators, Principals, Assistant Principals, Special Education Directors and Supervisors)
