RTI Overview and Cut Points Day 1 - Mercedes ISD only

Participants will learn the basics of the Response to Intervention (RTI) framework. Participants will also begin the process of drafting the cut scores for elementary campuses of MISD. Participants are asked to bring the following to this session: student achievement data for READING for Grades K-5 for the past 3 years (in paper form if available), any testing kits of formal and informal assessments used at BOY, MOY, and EOY; additional screeners that the district uses to evaluate students between BOY and MOY and between MOY and EOY; a tablet with power cord; a laptop computer with power cord; extension cords as needed. These devices and data will be used in the afternoon portion of the training.
