SW McAllen Convention Center - Meal Patterns on Day 1 & Food Production Records on Day 2 (Bilingual)

This is a 12 hour course over a 2 day training.
Day 1: This course is designed to teach participants operating the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program the basic meal pattern knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to run effective and compliant programs including the history and legislative changes that affect the school meal standards, the principles of food-based menu planning, lunch and breakfast meal patterns, dietary specifications and offer versus serve.
On Day 2: Participants will be provided with instruciton on how to accurately complete required Food Production Records in order to support successful management, facilitate communication and document compliance with the new meal pattern requirements.

A Spanish translator will be available in the classroom thru the use of a head set upon request.

Supervisors, Managers, Food Service Assistants with direct involvement in recognizing reimbursable meals and the completion of food production records
