ELL Strategies in the Secondary Math Classroom

Participants will explore the benefits of using manipulatives when teaching mathematical concepts to ELLs. Teachers will engage in modeling various mathematical problems, instructional strategies that promote listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and developing quality questions aligned to the TEKS.
