HB5 Legislative Updates (Graduation Requirements)

New to the role of Texas High School Graduation? If yes, this is a training for you!

The session will support and enhance district and campus practices/procedures, and explore graduation opportunities for students through the Foundation High School Program with endorsement options. Participants will receive an overview of the relationship between federal, state, and district requirements for graduation (HB5), special education graduation options, rules for coding courses on the Academic Achievement Record, and the documentation to accurately reflect a student’s high school education. This workshop is for Teachers, Academic Counselors, Principals, Master Schedulers, PEIMS, Superintendents, Special Education Directors, Diagnosticians, and Transition Specialists.

0-3 years experience Academic Counselors, Diagnosticians, Teachers new District Content Staff, and Administrators.
