The TEHDI Regional Learning Community Summits will provide a venue to:
Engage healthcare professionals, early intervention/education professionals, and families within the early hearing detection and intervention system to effectively contribute to the healthcare, intervention and education system of infants/children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Develop and foster collaborative partnerships with early intervention programs to ensure children who are deaf or hard of hearing have access to the necessary referrals, care coordination and pertinent services that will support language acquisition; and
Address the importance of families within the early hearing detection and intervention system by incorporating family members within the learning communities as well as facilitating partnerships between families and various providers/programs within the state.

pediatric audiologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, early intervention providers, public/private school employees who encounter infants who are deaf or hard of hearing; as well as parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
